Update:
The gospel project with Karen Domino White( daughter of legendary Fats Domino) is well on the way. We are working with some Grammy nominated musicians and more to make the project a success. I am very excited.
My part is far from done, but now that we’ve launched into pre production with musicians, I will have the much needed time to post.

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about Reaper since first posting on it. It’s an awesome Daw for multi-tracking audio and midi. I found a video that will help the absolute beginner to Reaper set up for live recording.

This starts with assigning your audio card to prepare for recording, and goes on to recording a guitar riff using effects. Really easy to follow and should have you recording in no time.

I’m about to get it going with some sample beats. Nothing like a good video to get in the mood for chopping. Sample heads will appreciate this. The sample playing at the beginning is so soulful..I’m really feeling the chops and the beat. They kept the video nice and raw as well. No mixing just a straight beat here…
