I thought this was a cool list of hip hop songs with heavy 808 boom sub bass.. the sound quality is not great, but the bass lovers will appreciate the collection.

This is actually part two of a 40 song series by itouchyhacker on Youtube. They have a lot of videos on sub speakers,woofers, and phone tweaks.

Talk about a great way to kick things off with the Showcase! I received and email from King The Producer in June. I hit him back, he followed up and WOW! Not only did he send great music, but he sent a wonderful bio along with links and pictures. Since he is the very first, and did such an excellent job. He’ll be featured on the home gallery, as well as showcased!

Kings composed beats and scores have a great range as far as genre.I listened to tracks with a dirty south style to the newer pop-hop type, and even some Jazzy hiphop. I noticed that King implements synths in many of his songs. Listen how he uses sounds which are popular today,yet he has tweaked them to fit his style.
Kings work with the chord progressions stand out especially when he uses brass! Nice melodies, nice percussion use as well…wonderful work King!

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Born with the name; Gilbert Isidro Aispuro. At the age of 15, King The Producer really got into classical music and frequently listened to composers such as Chopin, Bach, Mozart and of course Beethoven. In his freshman year at Carl Hayden High School, he decided to take piano courses for the rest of his school years till he graduated. “At 17, my friend, Rueben Perea, happened to have a Casio keyboard he used to mess with, do drums with and record a little melody. When he heard me play a piece on the piano, he was shocked and told me to record a loop, little after, he showed me how to use the drum kits, little after that, he showed me how to record a song, after that, I was hooked!!! Thanks Rue. I always adored instrumentals and producers like; Rick Rubin, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, DJ Premier, Kanye West, Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Dr. Dre and all the greats.”

What’s up with you? Have you noticed I’m posting a lot more … yaay..

Let’s get rolling on more fun additions to the site. A while back I offered producers a chance to get featured. I got several emails, but not many follow ups. I am still working with the ideas I had for this, but I am ready to roll.

I decided to do more of a showcase type setup. I figured this will give more opportunities to new producers as well as the pros. Now onto the rules and things…This is fairly long, but I’d like to keep this as organized as possible.All guidelines and rules are subject to additions and change as we work out things with the new showcase.

This is the plan as of today. I will write a post with a brief description or bio. If you supply the bio worded the way you want, I will add it into the post. I will be accepting up to 10 tracks to choose from. Your beats or songs must be in Mp3 format. Either a panel of producers or I will choose 3-5 songs for the playlist. A minimum of 3 songs is required. I’ll also need a picture or production logo and all the contact information you’d like displayed. The post will include a playlist widget and there will be a widget on the sidebar with a playlist.

Keep in mind when sending full songs to make them radio friendly edits. It’s up to you if you’d like to add vocal tags. MsTrisMusic.Com WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for anything other than uploading and showcasing your songs. Your material will not be forwarded, nor used for anything other than your showcase at MsTrisMusic.Com without your written permission. You will retain all rights to your material. Only send material that you own copyrights to. If there are any complaints about sampled material, it will be removed immediately.

This is a showcase where producers may want feed back. Please don’t “American Idol” a fellow producer in your comments, but give constructive critiques.

HOW TO GET FEATURED
I can not showcase every producer, but I will try to get to as many producers as I can on a monthly basis. I will NOT showcase unmixed rough copies or any practice beats. I definitely won’t post material I think will offend other readers.

A lot of producers love Ableton. I’m such a fan of bright colorful software, that I couldn’t get into it for my lab. I have used it several times. It’s a powerful program once you learn the basics. The time stretching features are awesome.
I thought I’d add some videos on Ableton for those who use it frequently. I learned a lot more from them ..enjoy
