Thinking About Using M-Audio?

Happy happy historical election week Friday!~ I am being a tech geek today..rewiring my hardware..again :-), and I think I’m going to do a clean install of windows xp very soon.

I am using the Delta Omni i/o audio interface as pictured above. I am configuring it to record 4 tracks simultaneously..I hope !~ I mentioned before that I also use the Edirol M-16 Dx, and planned to ebay it. Well that changed after recording a vocal session a couple weeks ago. The Edirol worked so great for vocals that seasoned engineer,Mark Carey even gave me a compliment. I was feeling like a winner after that!~ So the Edirol is terrific. The only sound that I notice a digital difference, is on the Kick drum coming from the Mpc. I have compared, and would rather have my kicks going straight from the Mpc, through the Delta sound card, into my Multitrack software.

I found a wonderful document all about M-Audio products. It’s super easy to follow and contains info on firewire, monitors, soundcards, and even midi interfaces….

M Audio Ed Guide

**you’ll need Adobe Reader to see the file**:Adobe Reader Download Page

After reading through, this is helpful for understanding audio equipment from other developers as well. Real good read indeed…

Happy Beat Making To All
Pz Til Later!~
