Good morning all…hope you’ve been banging out nothing but hits!~ I have a lot of things in store after this week. I’ll be getting one of those screen recorders for tutorials, adding new beats,graphics, and more drum kits. I’ve started 3 projects, and things are going smooth.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, pictures can also save you from a thousand headaches..When I first bought my Mpc, I didn’t have a clue about midi connections to my sound modules. Once I finally got everything connected, I took a picture of my connection. …
Now if I rearrange my studio and have to move equipment, I can refer to the photo. In the picture above you can see I have various colors for midi cables, and I wrote on certain ones. Another thing to have around the studio along with sharpies, is masking tape. You can wrap a little around each end of cable and label the connections appropriately. To give an idea, I may label one end “to guitar” and the other end “to mixer channel1″
In the long run this could come in handy as you upgrade, or build onto your studio.
