Memorial Day..Remember The True Meaning

Happy Memorial Day to all… remember the true meaning is a day to honor the fallen soldiers who died for our country and freedom. As a child, my family always attended the annual parade. There were always barbecues,plenty food, and even more fun. As an Adult I understand the importance of this day, and that it’s more than a day to have a barbecue. So today I send uplifting thoughts to families who have lost loved ones, and I’m having a moment of silence for the fallen soldiers….

Thank you for the Memorial day Post. It is important to remember that this day is for remembering and praising those who have paid the ultimate price to protect our country, freedom, and what they believed in. For most fought for their own individual reasons, whether it was for friend and family, or for country and ideals. The end result was that they gave their life, hoping no one else would have to do the same.
